Our instant bone broth is prepared by first slow simmering bones for an extra-long time to extract all of the natural goodness from them. The bone broth liquid is then dehydrated to preserve all the benefits then conveniently packaged for on-the-go consumption.
Is there a difference between instant bone broth and fresh in terms of benefits?
Just like traditional broths, our instant broths are made from slow simmered bones. But with the instant version, we can offer a wider range of delicious flavors, while also providing higher protein and nutritional benefits to our customers like added MCT oil to support high-protein diets.
How can I add bone broth to my daily routine?
Just add a cup of hot water, stir, and enjoy instead of coffee or tea. Add to rice, soup, or your favorite recipes. Take camping or for après ski. Sip after a workout or yoga. Bring to the office or school or wherever you spend your days. Or sip before bed at night. However and whenever you add bone broth to your day, we hope it brings you comfort and good health.
What is the shelf life of your instant bone broths?
Every packet includes a Best Before Date. Thanks to recent shelf-life studies, we can confidently say that our instant bone broth is safe to consume for up to 18 months from the production date.
Is this broth safe for people with food allergies?
You’ll be happy to know that our instant bone broth flavors contain no seafood (fish, crustaceans or shellfish), eggs, milk, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soy, sulphites, tree nuts or wheat. The only allergen in our instant bone broth is coconut.
How safe are the facilities where you produce your instant bone broth?
We’re proud to be one of only a handful of companies in North America that produces bone broth in USDA and CFIA facilities that are GFSI and HACCP certified. For you, that means a product with higher quality, safety, and accountability.
Are your bones “hormone-free”?
The practice of giving artificial or added hormones to poultry is prohibited by law. Our chicken, like every other chicken in the US and Canada, is not given any artificial or added hormones. The term “hormone-free” is a bit misleading because hormones do occur naturally in animals, birds, and plants.
How much sodium is in a pouch of your instant bone broth?
Every pouch has a complete nutrition and ingredient declaration, and we offer the nutrition facts for each flavor on its flavor page. Note: bone broth has naturally occurring sodium.
Why are MCT oil and chicory root added to your flavors?
We’ve added MCT oil to help boost energy, support weight management, and promote heart health. It's particularly beneficial in supporting keto and paleo diets.
Chicory root is added as a source of inulin -- a type of soluble fiber that aids in promoting healthy digestion, relieving constipation, and acting as a prebiotic to support beneficial gut bacteria. Additionally, it is known to naturally enhance flavor.
Although nothing quite compares to the mouthfeel of homemade bone broth, the addition of MCT oil and chicory root further enhances the drinking experience.
How are you making an effort to reduce waste?
We don’t include retail boxes with orders made on our website due to our customizable, mix and match flavor program. This program enables customers to have complete control over their flavor selections and we can reduce packaging. Our customers often store their packets in a cookie jar or alongside their tea selection.
Are your chicken bones cage-free?
Yes, we only source bones from ethically raised, cage-free chickens. And we only use non-GMO vegetables and spices.
