Slow Cooker Roast Beef with Bone Broth

Classic slow cooker roast beef with bone broth! This is the way to cook once and eat twice!
Ingredients:
3-5 lb roast
For the rub:
2 packages Bone Brewhouse Wild Mushroom Instant Chicken Bone Broth
1 tbsp Kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp peppercorns
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp fresh thyme
2 crushed garlic cloves
For the gravy:
2 tbsp cornstarch
Directions:
- Rub a little bit of olive oil over roast. Then sprinkle rub over roast using fingers to gently press into the roast.
- Set roast in the slow cooker with 2 cups of water and cover.
- Cook on high for 6-8hrs. When ready remove from slow cooker and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
To make gravy add cornstarch and 1/4 cup water to a sauce pan. Whisk until smooth. Add drippings from roast to saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly until desired consistency.
