Bone broth chili

This protein-packed bone broth chili checks all the boxes: protein, fiber, gut-friendly nutrients, and real, whole ingredients that’ll warm you up from the inside and keep you satisfied. Ingredients:

  • Olive oil (to sauté garlic and onions) 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 2 to 4 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1 red pepper, chopped 
  • 1 pound extra lean, ground beef, turkey, or chicken 
  • 4 tablespoons chilli powder 
  • 2 teaspoons cumin 
  • 1 teaspoon oregano 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 
  • 1 cup of water 
  • 1 can of corn 
  • 1 can of red kidney beans 
  • 1-2 packets Homestyle bone broth 

How to:

  1. Sauté onion, garlic, and red pepper. 

  2. Add meat and cook through.

  3. Add spices and mix. 

  4. Add beans, tomatoes, corn, water, and instant bone broth mix. 

  5. Let simmer for 45 minutes. 

  6. Top with your choice of avocado, cilantro, and scallions and serve with tortilla chips or garlic toast.
