These cheesy onion ring chips are blowing up the internet for good reason: they’re simple, crunchy, and seriously addictive. All you need is thin-sliced onion, cheese, and instant bone broth — and you’ve got a low-carb, gluten-free snack that totally satisfies. We gave this a protein bump by adding our Lemon Ginger bone broth over the cheese before baking — it adds protein, nutrients, and some zing! Easy to prep, fun to eat, and perfect with your favorite dip.
Ingredients:
- 2 sweet white onions, sliced thin
- Parmesan, grated (you decide how cheesy you want it)
- Swiss cheese, grated (you decide amount)
- Lemon Ginger instant bone broth
Note: add equal amounts of both cheeses.
How to:
- Spray a piece of parchment paper with olive oil.
- Sprinkle grated cheese and instant bone broth together in one layer.
- Add your onions on top, spaced out in rows (do not overlap).
- Add more cheese and bone broth powder.
- Bake until crispy and melted (about 375 or 400 F - keep a close eye so it doesn’t burn!)
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares and devouring!
Enjoy!
