Bone broth Spring green beans

Ingredients: 

  • 400-600g of green beans 
  • 1 packet Bone Brewhouse Lemon Ginger bone broth 
  • ½ lemon juiced 
  • Salt to taste 
  • ⅛ cup hot water 
  • 1 shallot chopped 
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped 
  • 1 tsp olive oil 
  • Toasted almonds

Instructions:

  1. Wash green beans. 
  2. Steam them for a few minutes only, they should still have a slight crunch. 
  3. Dunk them in an ice bath and then drain.
  4. Mix lemon juice, water and bone broth. 
  5. Sautée shallot and garlic in olive oil. 
  6. Add bone broth mixture and green beans and heat through. 
  7. Plate and top with toasted almonds. Enjoy!
